Born from a mother's love, Inspired by Kobe Rae and the gentle lessons of motherhood.
Rae of Sunshine Press was created during one of the most transformative seasons of my life; becoming a mother. What began as a deeply personal journey- filled with uncertainty, resilience, and unconditional love - grew into a mission to support, educate, and uplift other parents walking similar paths.
Motherhood is often portrayed as instinctive and effortless, but my experience taught me something different. It is powerful, yes - but also humbling, emotional, and at times overwhelming. Learning to trust myself in moments of doubt, I discovered the quiet strength that lives in mothers.
My entry into motherhood was not without struggle. One of the most difficult and emotional challenges I faced was navigating Kobe’s feeding difficulties during her earliest months. What should have felt simple quickly became a source of stress, fear, and constant self-questioning.
I searched endlessly for answers—trying to understand feeding schedules, intake amounts, reflux concerns, bottle systems, and whether I was doing enough or doing it right. Like many new mothers, I felt the pressure to have it all figured out, while silently carrying the weight of uncertainty and exhaustion. Those moments changed me. They taught me the importance of education, preparation, and grace—not just for babies, but for parents too. They also revealed how many mothers feel unsupported, overwhelmed, or afraid to ask for help.
Rae of Sunshine exists to change that narrative.
